Project Objectives and Results

The project “Photovoltaic Power Plant for Own Consumption – SE ENERGO TEHNA” represents one of the key strategic steps undertaken by ENERGO-TEHNA d.o.o. in implementing its development strategy in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

The project increases the use of renewable energy sources, resulting in annual electricity production of 842.55 MWh, thereby improving energy efficiency within the company’s production processes. It enables the same production capacity while reducing electricity supplied from the distribution grid by at least 85%.

At the same time, the project achieves a reduction in CO₂ emissions of 197.16 tonnes annually.

Implementation of the project contributes to the wider application of low-carbon technologies and enhances energy supply security in the Republic of Croatia.

Programme and Source of Funding

The project “Photovoltaic Power Plant for Own Consumption – SE ENERGO TEHNA” is financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the European Economic Area (EEA) Financial Mechanism 2014–2021, with additional national co-financing from the Republic of Croatia in the amount of EUR 340,000.00 in non-refundable funds under the Programme “Energy and Climate Change.”

The objective of the project is to increase the use of renewable energy sources, resulting in reduced electricity consumption from conventional sources and a decrease in CO₂ emissions.
