Exciting news from Sesvetski Kraljevec! We have reached an important milestone in our sustainability journey with the successful installation of a photovoltaic power plant on the roof of our production facility.
This innovative investment not only reduces our electricity costs but also plays a key role in our commitment to environmental protection and the reduction of carbon emissions.
“It has been an incredible journey since our last meeting. One year ago, we embarked on this ambitious project, and today we are proud to announce its full completion and operational status. With the photovoltaic power plant now installed, we are one step closer to energy independence, greater environmental responsibility, and a reduced carbon footprint. This project embodies our commitment to a greener and more sustainable future,” shared Branimir Bošnjak, Project Manager.
Our investment in renewable energy technology strengthens our energy resilience and aligns with Croatia’s broader efforts to expand renewable energy capacity and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
“At our location, rooftop solar panels will generate nearly 80% of our annual electricity consumption. This significant contribution demonstrates our dedication to sustainability and reduced reliance on conventional energy sources. With approximately 750 MWh of electricity produced annually, we are making substantial progress toward a cleaner and greener future,” Bošnjak added.
This important project was made possible through financial support from Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway under the EEA Financial Mechanism, with additional support from the Republic of Croatia.
